      1. I am back to San Diego. I may need to go back to Istanbul to follow up on one more item for dad. I will know more next week. I will let you know.

  1. Happy New Year from Dallas 🎉 We stayed at a hotel at Gemdarmerie when our Lisa turned 21 during her Stanford Berlin semester.

We arrived back from Rio just in time for Christmas with family.

Let’s get together again in 2016 – though both of our travel schedules seem to be busy and full. Corene

    1. Hi Vickie!

Are you in Berlin? How about coming down to Switzerland?? We're on our way to Mollens today, after spending the Christmas holidays with family and friends around Brunnen, Basel, etc.

We’ll be in Mollens until Monday, then I work 2,5 days and return back to Mollens for a 4,5 day weekend. We were able to watch the Sylvester fireworks last night from the terrace of the top floor apartment (oberlooking the lake), which isn't finished yet. The landlady has now promised that we can move up there by April, which is a big step forward.

Tell me your plans, we’d love to see you!!! There is hardly any snow in the mountains, up to now the winter has been very mild, which isn’t good for the ski industry.

      Happy New Years to you!

    1. Hi Helena, we’ll have to save our time together in May, as Melissa and I decide to come to Berlin at the last minute. We’ll be driving to Amsterdam and back next week!
The fireworks must have been great from your view at the top of the hill. I am still fondly reminiscing about our evening with Cecilia Bartoli in Gstaad! What a memorable event that was! I look forward to our future opera and concert events together! I’m glad I found someone to share this passion with!! Happy Silvester!!
