The rest of the year was spent on construction the addition to our house. In may ways, the journaling of this adventure had many similarities to traveling: unpredictable circumstances, thinking on your feet, and getting immense pleasure from seeing plans materialize successfully.
All good timing to make use of our emergence as a society in pain from the pandemic. Building something. Physical labor. Learning how to live together in different ways from what was before. And how to go forward with life with renewed energy and ways to make it better.
