The finishing touches to the ADU addition were made, and a quick trip to three cities in German was taken before the holidays at the end of the year.

This year is the tenth year of Travelswithmyselfandothers. After consideration, I decided that it is time to retire from long distance, real time travel. Covid put a crunch to the type of traveling I enjoyed. I can consume life in other ways that don’t involve leaving so much carbon footprint.

From the German language training gained at the Goethe Institute and all the people I have met along the way, I have enjoyed every minute and every adventure. Uzbekistan, Iran and Easter Island are highlights to the many destinations that I visited.

I hope you have also enjoyed following along. I hope each picture helped to tell a thousand words, and the words captured my curiosity for understanding what the world is about. Together, I hope they conveyed my love of travel and the sensual pleasures that travel provides.
